Landslide Alerts Issued as Heavy Rains Prompt Evacuations in Vilangad

The Vadakara Revenue Divisional Officer has been designated as the nodal officer to oversee the coordination of evacuation and relief camp operations in the area. The Vadakara Tahsildar will assist in this role as the assistant nodal officer. In addition, the District Police Chief of Kozhikode Rural has been instructed to allocate adequate law enforcement personnel to facilitate the evacuation process and maintain security at both the relief camps and the homes that have been evacuated.
