PM Modi Adjusts Airport Departure Schedule to Mitigate Traffic Disruptions During NEET-UG 2026 Re-Examination

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delayed his departure from Delhis airport on Sunday to minimize traffic disruptions for students heading to their NEET-UG 2026 re-examination centers. This decision was made as over 2.2 million candidates were scheduled to participate in the crucial exam, which is conducted for admission to undergraduate medical programs across India.

The re-examination was necessitated after the cancellation of the original test due to a question paper leak controversy, raising concerns over the integrity of the examination process. In response to this issue, the authorities have implemented stringent security measures for the rescheduled examination to ensure a smooth and fair testing environment for candidates.

The NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a significant examination in India, and its challenges highlight the ongoing discussions regarding examination integrity and the welfare of students during critical testing periods.
