GSEB Announces 2026 HSC Science Supplementary Results, with a Pass Percentage of 27.36%
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has released the results for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Science Supplementary examination for the year 2026. The overall pass percentage stands at 27.36%. Of the 16,120 students who participated in the examination, 4,411 successfully passed.
In terms of performance by gender, girls outperformed boys in both Group A and Group B categories. Additionally, regular candidates achieved better results compared to their repeater counterparts, highlighting a significant difference in outcomes based on attendance status.
The supplementary exams are typically conducted for students who did not pass the initial HSC examinations and aim to provide them with an opportunity to improve their scores. This years results have prompted discussions among educators and policymakers regarding the challenges faced by students, including the need for enhancement in academic support and resources.
