New High-Speed Corridors to Implement Indigenous Signalling System Following Made-in-India Bullet Train
Indian Railways is currently working on the development of an indigenous signalling protocol tailored for high-speed rail operations, known as the Bharat Train Control System (BTCS). This innovative system aims to enhance safety and efficiency in train operations across various routes in India, taking into consideration the unique geographical and operational challenges present within the country.
The BTCS is expected to integrate advanced technologies to facilitate seamless communication between trains and control centers, as well as provide real-time data for effective monitoring and management of train movements.
