Puducherry Schools to Observe Holidays on August 21 and 22 Due to Local Events

The Education Department of Puducherry has declared that 69 government and private schools will remain closed on August 21 and August 22. This temporary closure is due to the schools being utilized as examination centers for the Integrated Graduate Level Examination, which is scheduled to take place from August 21 to August 23.

The schools impacted by this decision include 53 located in Puducherry, eight in Karaikal, three in Mahe, and five in Yanam. The Education Department has indicated that compensatory working days for the affected schools will be announced at a later date to ensure that students can complete their academic requirements.
