Congress Working Committee (CWC) Promotes Vande Mataram and Expands Outreach Initiatives

In a recent meeting, the Congress Working Committee (CWC) expressed its support for the rendition of Vande Mataram in a two-stanza format. This initiative aims to revitalize the patriotic anthem within educational institutions across India. The committee resolved to expand outreach efforts to engage students in 800 cities, emphasizing a connection with the youth as a crucial aspect of its strategy.

During this strategic meeting, various topics were discussed, including enhancing grassroots engagement in response to allegations concerning paper leaks and fundraising irregularities, referred to colloquially as ‘chanda chori’. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the current governments educational policies, stating that they have compromised students future. He encouraged the party to formulate a comprehensive roadmap for youth engagement, reinforcing the importance of this demographic in political discourse.

The CWC also outlined plans to address emerging challenges and specific issues impacting students, signifying a proactive approach to youth outreach. The initiative represents part of a broader strategy to revitalize the partys image and presence among the younger population.
