HPBOSE Matric Second Result 2026: Combined Pass Rate Reaches 89.54% with Dual Board System

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced the results of the July 2026 Matric second examination, revealing that 4,930 out of 8,181 candidates were successful, resulting in a pass percentage of 60.27%. This examination is part of the newly implemented Dual Board system, which began for Class 10 students in March 2026.

In total, when combining both the main and second examinations within this system, 81,110 out of 91,060 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 89.54%.

Students who wish to apply for revaluation or rechecking of their papers can do so until September 9. The introduction of the Dual Board system aims to provide students with more flexibility in their educational assessments, and it has garnered attention for its impact on pass rates among students in the state.
