Central Government Allocates ₹1,156 Crore in 15th Finance Commission Grants to Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Tripura

The Central Government of India has announced the disbursement of ₹1,156 crore in grants as part of the 15th Finance Commissions recommendations to support the development of three states: Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Tripura. This funding is aimed at enhancing infrastructure and public services in these states.

Of the total amount, Andhra Pradesh will receive the largest share, with the funds expected to address various sectors including health, education, and rural development. Maharashtra, being one of the most populous states in India, will utilize this grant to bolster urban infrastructure and improve service delivery in its metropolitan areas.
