“Temperatures Surpass 40°C in 78 Mandals Across Andhra Pradesh”

The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) has issued heatwave alerts for several districts, including Alluri Sitharama Raju, Polavaram, Parvathipuram Manyam, Vizianagaram, and NTR. According to the APSDMA, temperatures are expected to rise, potentially affecting 87 out of the states total of 671 mandals.

As the summer season progresses, the region is experiencing unusually high temperatures, which can pose health risks, particularly for vulnerable populations. The APSDMA has recommended that residents take necessary precautions, such as staying hydrated and avoiding outdoor activities during peak heat hours.

Local authorities are advised to monitor weather updates and respond appropriately to any heat-related emergencies. This advisory aligns with broader efforts by the APSDMA to enhance community resilience to extreme weather conditions as part of their ongoing disaster preparedness initiatives. Residents are encouraged to stay informed through official channels as the situation develops.
