Kerala Assembly Elections 2026: BJP Targets UDF MLA Controversy in Palakkad

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has nominated Sobha Surendran for the upcoming election, who previously played a significant role in elevating the party to the second position in the constituency in 2016. The BJP aims to secure the seat from the United Democratic Front (UDF). In recent elections, the Left Democratic Front (LDF) has consistently placed third in this segment. As of now, neither the UDF nor the LDF has announced their candidates for the upcoming election.
