BJP member S.V. Sankanur has requested the government to evaluate the possibility of providing pension benefits for employees of aided educational institutions appointed before 2006 and subsequently incorporated into the grant-in-aid system, as well as for those appointed after 2006.
The controversy arises following accusations from Opposition parties that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Uttar Pradesh is “anti-Brahmin.”
