A.P. Chambers Advocates for Expanded Vande Bharat Services to Additional Destinations

Potluri Bhaskara Rao, the president of the Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, has submitted a formal representation to the General Manager of the newly established South Coast Railway Zone. This new railway zone, which was created to enhance rail connectivity and infrastructure in the southern region of India, is expected to play a pivotal role in boosting economic growth and development in Andhra Pradesh and neighboring areas.

In his submission, Rao outlined various concerns and suggestions related to railway services and infrastructure improvements that could benefit local businesses and the community at large. The South Coast Railway Zone, headquartered in Visakhapatnam, aims to improve operational efficiency and passenger services across the southeastern states. As businesses in the region continue to recover from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the timely implementation of railway projects and services could significantly enhance logistics and transportation, thereby contributing to regional economic revitalization.
