Amaravati MLA and MLC Residential Buildings Near Completion; 288 Flats Set for Upcoming Allotment

The Andhra Pradesh Government Employees and Civic Initiatives Limited (AGICL) has announced that 288 flats designated for Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) are now complete. The construction of the associated buildings is expected to be finalized within the next two weeks.

The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) will oversee the allotment process of these flats, working in collaboration with the Speaker of the Assembly and the Chairman of the Legislative Council. This initiative aims to provide adequate housing solutions for the state’s legislators, ensuring they have access to accommodations that meet their needs while they carry out their legislative duties.

The new residential facilities are part of broader infrastructure development plans in the Amaravati region, which is being promoted as the state’s new capital. This move aligns with the government’s efforts to enhance living conditions for public officials and facilitate more effective governance. Further updates regarding the allotment process are expected to be released following the completion of the buildings.
