Andhra Pradesh Allocates ₹27 Crore for 50-Bed Integrated AYUSH Hospitals Across Six Districts

The government of Andhra Pradesh has announced an allocation of ₹27 crore for the establishment of Integrated AYUSH Hospitals, which will feature 50 beds each. This initiative aims to enhance healthcare access in six different districts across the state, integrating traditional Ayurvedic, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathic medical systems (collectively referred to as AYUSH).

The decision comes as part of the states broader healthcare strategy, which seeks to promote alternative medicine alongside allopathic treatments. The integrated hospitals will ensure that residents in these districts have access to a comprehensive range of healthcare services, addressing both preventive and curative needs.
