Andhra Pradesh Energy Minister Directs No Power Cuts Amid Rising Demand

Andhra Pradesh Energy Minister G. Ravi Kumar Issues Directive to Prevent Power Cuts Amid Increasing Demand

In response to the rising demand for electricity in Andhra Pradesh, Energy Minister G. Ravi Kumar has directed state officials to ensure there are no power cuts for consumers. This decision comes as the region experiences heightened electricity consumption, particularly in the wake of increased industrial activity and climatic factors that contribute to higher energy usage.

Minister Kumar emphasized the importance of maintaining a stable power supply, especially during peak consumption periods. He instructed the Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation (APGENCO) and distribution companies to review their operational protocols to prevent outages and meet the growing energy needs of both residential and commercial sectors.

The government has been actively investing in infrastructure and renewable energy projects to bolster its power supply. Recent initiatives include expanding solar and wind energy capacities, which are expected to support the states electricity demands sustainably.

Officials are also closely monitoring consumption patterns to implement effective management strategies that can adapt to fluctuations in demand throughout different seasons. As Andhra Pradesh continues to develop, ensuring reliable power supply remains a critical component of the states growth and economic stability.
