Andhra Pradesh Health Department Reports Initial Success of AI-Driven Medtech Pilot with 12,677 Patients Screened in 37 Days

A group of startups, selected through the MedTech Innovation Challenge, has been actively testing their innovative technologies in 18 government hospitals. This initiative aims to enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes through the implementation of cutting-edge medical technologies.

The top-performing startups from this pilot program will receive recognition in the form of cash prizes, as well as a work order valued at ₹1 crore (approximately $120,000). This financial support is intended to facilitate further development and deployment of their solutions in healthcare settings.

The MedTech Innovation Challenge is designed to foster innovation in medical technology, bringing together entrepreneurs and healthcare professionals to address pressing challenges in the sector. The performance evaluations will consider factors such as efficacy, patient feedback, and operational efficiency.
