Andhra Pradesh Increases Compensation for Lepakshi Outsourcing Staff Following Sales Reaching ₹60.75 Crore

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced an increase in the basic pay for outsourcing staff at the Lepakshi showroom by more than 10%. This decision comes in response to a significant rise in sales, which reached ₹60.75 crore in the fiscal year 2025-26.

Lepakshi, a prominent retail establishment known for its handicrafts and traditional items, has seen an upward trend in sales, reflecting the growing demand for artisanal products. The pay hike aims to reward the contributions of the outsourcing staff who play a vital role in the showrooms operations and customer service.

The government views this increase in compensation as a necessary step to support staff welfare, enhance employee satisfaction, and encourage a productive work environment, ultimately leading to sustained growth in sales for the showroom.
