Andhra Pradesh to Launch First Project Under Clean Energy Policy in Rayalaseema on May 22
A 600-megawatt solar power project developed by SAEL Industries has been successfully completed in Andhra Pradesh in just 11 months, an achievement that has been highlighted by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The project, which represents an investment of approximately ₹3,000 crore, underscores the states commitment to renewable energy and efficient project execution.
HRD Minister Lokesh commented on this milestone, stating that Andhra Pradesh is not only attracting significant investments but also setting new benchmarks for project completion timelines. The solar initiative is part of the states broader strategy to enhance its energy infrastructure and promote sustainable development.
As India aims to boost its renewable energy capacity to 500 GW by 2030, projects like this one play a crucial role in transitioning towards cleaner energy sources. Additionally, the successful execution of such large-scale projects can potentially attract further investment in the renewable sector within the region.
