Araku MP Thanuja Rani Requests Reopening of Chinabhogili Railway Gate in Parvatipuram-Manyam Area

Araku Member of Parliament Gumma Thanuja Rani has formally requested that railway authorities consider the reopening of the Chinabhogili railway gate. This access point serves as a vital transportation route for approximately 10,000 residents from five villages within the Parvatipuram-Manyam district.

The closure of the Chinabhogili railway gate has restricted movement for local communities, impacting their ability to travel for work, education, and essential services. MP Rani emphasized the critical nature of this route, highlighting how its closure has created significant hardships for the residents who depend on it for daily commutes and access to larger urban areas for employment and healthcare.

In her appeal, Rani also mentioned that the reopening of this gate could facilitate better connectivity and contribute to the economic development of the region. She urged railway authorities to assess the situation promptly in order to restore this crucial link for the residents.

Local leaders and community members have echoed her concerns, advocating for the reopening to improve their quality of life. The Chinabhogili railway gates functionality is especially important given the geographical challenges faced by these villages, which are often disconnected from mainstream transport networks.
