Bengaluru: Delay of Two Years Expected for Phase-2 Elevated Corridors

The construction of two flyovers in the Bangalore region is expected to experience delays. The first flyover will connect Nagawara Junction to Bagaluru Main Road, covering a distance of approximately 17.30 kilometers. The second flyover will link Mother Teresa Circle (near Ulsoor Lake Junction) to Bagaluru Village, spanning around 27.20 kilometers.

These projects are part of a broader initiative to enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion in key areas of the city. The delays may result from various factors, including regulatory approvals, environmental assessments, and potential changes in project plans or funding arrangements.

Further updates regarding the timeline for completion and specific reasons for the delays are anticipated from local authorities and project management teams. This infrastructure development is anticipated to improve connectivity within the region, benefiting daily commuters and logistics operations once completed.
