Bullet Train Update: Completion of Tunnelling Work for Five-Kilometer Tunnel

A 5-kilometer tunnel is currently under construction between Ghansoli and Shilphata as part of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) project. This ambitious initiative aims to create a 508-kilometer rail corridor connecting Gujarat, Maharashtra, and the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

The MAHSR project, which is the first high-speed rail corridor in India, is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, making the journey in approximately two hours.
