Centre Acknowledges A.P.s New Tourism Projects Favorably
The Tourism Minister, Kandula Durgesh, announced a series of developmental proposals aimed at enhancing tourism and cultural initiatives in the state. The proposals, valued at ₹915 crore, were submitted to the Central Government and include plans for the development of iconic tourism destinations and temples. Additionally, the establishment of the National School of Drama in Rajamahendravaram and the National Institute of Hospitality in Amaravati is also part of the initiative.
These proposals are intended to boost tourism, create job opportunities, and promote cultural heritage in the region. The National School of Drama is expected to provide a platform for aspiring artists and performers, while the National Institute of Hospitality will aim to train individuals in the hospitality sector, catering to the growing tourism industry in the area. The implementation of these projects is anticipated to enhance the states profile as a key destination for both domestic and international tourists.
