Centre Assigns Ministers to Evaluate Flood Damage in Arunachal Pradesh
Twelve out of the 28 districts in Assam have been impacted by recent adverse weather conditions. As a result of the ongoing situation, at least three fatalities have been reported. Significant damage to infrastructure has occurred, including roads, bridges, and residential buildings. The Dhemaji district, known for its agricultural activities and riverine geography, has been particularly affected. Authorities are currently assessing the extent of the damage and coordinating relief efforts. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been deployed to assist in rescue and recovery operations. Local governments are urging residents to remain vigilant and prepared as the situation develops.
