Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu Visits Anganwadi Center to Launch Induction Stove Initiative
The state government has announced plans to distribute induction stoves and cooking vessels to all 44,346 anganwadi centers throughout the state. This initiative is projected to incur an estimated cost of ₹32 crore.
Anganwadi centers play a crucial role in providing basic nutrition and health services to children and mothers, particularly in rural areas. The introduction of induction stoves is expected to enhance the efficiency and safety of food preparation at these facilities. This move aligns with the governments broader objectives of improving public health and nutrition standards, supporting early childhood education, and promoting sustainable cooking practices.
The distribution is set to begin in the coming weeks, with the government aiming to complete the rollout by the end of the current fiscal year. These efforts reflect the administrations commitment to ensuring access to modern cooking equipment and improving the quality of meals served to the communitys most vulnerable populations.
