Chipmaker Reveals $21 Billion Stake in Elon Musks Rocket Firm

Nvidia, the prominent technology company known for its graphics processing units (GPUs), holds approximately 123 million shares of SpaceX, valued at around $17 billion. In addition to this investment, Nvidia has also invested in xAI, a company founded by Elon Musk, prior to its merger with SpaceX.

As part of a strategic partnership, SpaceX will utilize Nvidias advanced technology exclusively for its data centers, enhancing its operational efficiency and data processing capabilities. This collaboration aligns with Nvidias broader commitment, as the company has pledged over $100 billion towards AI research and infrastructure development, with the specific goal of strengthening SpaceXs computing capabilities by 2027.

This partnership signifies a substantial integration of AI technologies in the aerospace sector, as both companies look to leverage cutting-edge computing power to advance SpaceXs ambitious space exploration and satellite deployment projects.
