CM Adityanath Launches Electric and Hydrogen Buses

A new fleet of 110 electric buses is set to commence operations by June 15. This initiative is part of a broader plan to enhance public transportation services in response to increasing demand. The administration has indicated that, depending on passenger needs and operational feedback, the fleet could expand further, with a potential total of up to 500 electric buses in the future.

These electric buses are expected to contribute to reducing carbon emissions and improving air quality in urban areas. The initiative aligns with ongoing efforts to promote sustainable transportation solutions and reduce dependency on fossil fuels.

Further details regarding the routes, schedules, and specific operational features of the electric buses will be announced closer to the launch date. The move is also in line with various governmental initiatives aimed at modernizing public transport infrastructure and making it more environmentally friendly.
