Commercial LPG Cylinder Price Decreases by Rs 183: Updated Rates Available

Price of 19-kg Commercial LPG Cylinder Reduced by Rs 183.50

The price of a 19-kg commercial Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder will decrease by Rs 183.50, effective from July 1, 2023. This change has been instituted as a response to the current easing of supply chain constraints and is intended to provide some relief to businesses reliant on LPG for cooking and other operations.

Following this reduction, the new rate for a 19-kg cylinder will be Rs 1,774.50. The previous price was Rs 1,958, highlighting a significant reduction that may benefit various sectors, including restaurants and catering services.

The government has been actively monitoring the LPG market, and this price adjustment is part of broader measures aimed at stabilizing fuel markets amid fluctuations in international oil prices and supply chain challenges. While commercial LPG consumers will benefit from this reduction, household LPG prices remain unchanged for the time being, maintaining their current rate despite ongoing discussions about potential adjustments in the future.

As LPG continues to be critical in several sectors, the government’s measures could play a pivotal role in managing operational costs for businesses as they adjust to market changes. Further updates on household LPG pricing are anticipated as market conditions evolve.
