Community-Funded ₹5 Crore Initiative Supports 60% of Traffic Personnel in Hyderabads IT Corridor

In a collaborative effort to enhance traffic management in Hyderabad, 200 traffic marshals have been deployed across key areas including Gachibowli, Raidurgam, Madhapur, and Narsingi. This initiative, funded by local IT companies, aims to improve traffic flow and ensure the safety of commuters in one of the city’s busiest regions.

The deployment of traffic marshals is part of a broader strategy to address traffic congestion that has become increasingly problematic due to the influx of employees in the IT sector, especially during peak hours. These marshals are expected to assist in regulating vehicle movement, managing pedestrian crossings, and educating the public on road safety measures.

This initiative falls in line with the Cyberabad Traffic Polices ongoing commitment to streamline traffic management in response to the rapid growth of the IT industry in the region. The increased presence of traffic marshals is anticipated to not only alleviate congestion but also foster a safer environment for both drivers and pedestrians.

Additionally, this partnership between IT firms and traffic authorities highlights the growing trend of corporate collaboration in urban infrastructure projects, demonstrating a proactive approach towards developing sustainable solutions for traffic issues in metropolitan areas.
