CPI(M) Calls for Abolishment of NTA and Resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan

The party has reported that since the establishment of the National Testing Agency (NTA) in 2017, there have been at least four incidents in which examination leakages were reported. They asserted that these leakages have raised concerns about the integrity and transparency of the agency’s examination processes. Additionally, the party highlighted multiple challenges faced by the NTA while administering various assessments, indicating a need for comprehensive reforms within the agency.

The NTA was created by the Government of India to conduct entrance examinations for higher education institutions, aiming to enhance the quality and efficiency of test management. In light of these allegations, there have been calls for a review of the agencys protocols and measures to address security and transparency issues that have emerged over the years.
