Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami, is a significant Hindu festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil, traditionally marked by various events across different regions. Schools often align their holiday schedules with this festival, as families often engage in celebrations that include religious rituals, cultural activities, and community gatherings.

In addition to the main celebration dates, its essential for parents and guardians to keep an eye on any announcements from local educational boards, as there may be variations in the holiday periods based on individual school policies or regional customs.

Moreover, in the lead-up to the Dussehra holidays, schools typically organize various educational and cultural activities. These serve not only to educate students about the festivals significance but also to enhance their engagement with local traditions.

Families are encouraged to plan ahead for the holidays, taking into account travel, celebrations, and family gatherings, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience during this festive time.
