ECI Initiates Investigation into Foreign Nationals’ Voting in Tamil Nadu Assembly Election

Election officials in at least two cities and five districts across the state have been requested to submit a report concerning the circumstances under which foreign nationals were able to participate in the voting process. This inquiry comes in light of recent concerns regarding the integrity of the electoral rolls, which were subject to a Special Intensive Revision aimed at ensuring all registered voters meet the necessary eligibility requirements.
