Edman Homers and Roberts Reaches 1,000 Career Wins as Dodgers Defeat As 9-3

Tommy Edman excelled at the plate for the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday, recording four hits, which included his first home run of the 2023 season. His performance contributed significantly to the teams offensive output as they secured a 9-3 victory over the Oakland Athletics.

In a separate milestone, Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts made history by becoming the fastest manager to achieve 1,000 career wins. This accomplishment reflects both his leadership capabilities and the success of the Dodgers, a team that has consistently been a strong contender in Major League Baseball.

Roberts reached this milestone in just 1,413 games, surpassing the previous record held by Hall of Fame manager Connie Mack, who achieved the number in 1,534 games. Under Roberts’ management, the Dodgers have claimed multiple division titles and reached the postseason several times, culminating in a World Series championship in 2020.
