Efforts Underway to Establish Penuganchiprolu and Ibrahimpatnam as Model Blocks in NTR District

The Director of the National Water Mission announced that the village of Penuganchiprolu has successfully met 27 out of the 38 development indicators set forth by the mission. Efforts are currently underway to address the remaining indicators to further enhance the village’s water management and sustainability practices.

The National Water Mission, part of Indias National Action Plan on Climate Change, aims to ensure that water resources are managed effectively across the country. The development indicators assess various aspects such as water availability, accessibility, conservation practices, and community participation in water management.

Penuganchiprolus progress reflects the ongoing commitment of local authorities and community members to achieve sustainable water management while also addressing challenges posed by climate change. Continued efforts will focus on improving infrastructure and increasing awareness among residents about water conservation techniques, which are crucial for achieving overall development goals.
