Election Commission Implements QR Code Photo ID Cards for Access to Counting Centres

A new voting system is set to be implemented during the vote-counting process scheduled for May 4, which will affect the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, as well as elections in three additional states and the Union Territory of Puducherry. This system will also be utilized for the by-elections occurring in seven Assembly constituencies across five states.
