Emraan Hashmi Delays Bengaluru Performance Following Reports of Swine Flu Diagnosis
Actor Emraan Hashmi has confirmed that he has tested positive for swine flu (H1N1) after experiencing health issues following recent work travel. As a result, he has postponed his much-anticipated stage performance in Bengaluru, which was reportedly valued at Rs 2 crore. This change comes at a time when his latest film, Awarapan 2, is performing well at the box office.
In a statement on his Instagram Stories, Hashmi informed his fans that he would be unable to attend the scheduled event in Bengaluru. However, he did not mention his swine flu diagnosis in the post. Swine flu, caused by the H1N1 virus, can lead to symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, and fatigue.
The actors health update has led to an outpouring of support from fans and industry colleagues. In response to his condition, it is likely that he will focus on recovery before resuming work commitments. Swine flu, though generally manageable with appropriate medical care, can pose risks, particularly for individuals with underlying health issues.
