From Farrukhabad Village to IAF: Ankit Kumar Achieves Success as Flying Officer After 12 SSB Attempts

Ankit Kumar, a 24-year-old from Farrukhabad, has achieved his dream of becoming a Flying Officer in the Indian Air Force (IAF) after an impressive journey marked by perseverance. Kumars dedication paid off when he was commissioned as a Flying Officer during the passing-out parade held in Hyderabad on June 13, 2026. Notably, he had previously excelled in the Indian Coast Guard recruitment process, securing the top position (All India Rank 1) for the Assistant Commandant role. Nonetheless, his aspiration to join the IAF remained unchanged, showcasing his commitment to his goal.
