GEMS Education Announces Launch of 21 School Projects and SEBI-Backed Alternative Investment Fund in India

GEMS Education India, affiliated with the Dubai-based Varkey Group, has unveiled an ambitious expansion strategy that involves an investment of up to $30 million over the next three to five years. This initiative will see the opening of more than 30 schools operated by GEMS, as well as partnerships with 1,000 additional schools across the country.

As part of its growth plans, GEMS Education will also establish a dedicated School of Education aimed at providing teacher training and conducting educational research. The company has identified 21 specific school projects, with the first five campuses expected to commence operations by 2026.

Additionally, GEMS Education plans to launch a SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India)-regulated Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) to support infrastructure development in the education sector. This strategic approach reflects GEMS Educations commitment to enhancing educational opportunities in India and contributing to the countrys growing educational landscape.
