Heavy Rain Causes Flooding, Damaging 13,550 Hectares of Crops in Three Districts of North Andhra

Heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding have significantly impacted agricultural land in North Andhra Pradesh, with damages reported across three districts. Approximately 13,550 hectares of crops have been affected as a result of these adverse weather conditions.

The affected districts, which have experienced severe rainfall in recent days, include Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and Visakhapatnam. Farmers in these areas are coping with substantial losses, as standing crops such as paddy, maize, and groundnut have been inundated.
