Heavy Rainfall in Cyberabad Causes Waterlogging and Traffic Disruptions

As of 6 p.m. on a recent day, the Telangana Development Planning Society reported varying rainfall measurements across several areas in the region. Rajendranagar experienced the highest recorded rainfall at 55 mm. Following this, BHEL Factory received 26.3 mm of rain, while Lingampally saw 19.8 mm. Other notable measurements included 13.3 mm in Gachibowli, 11.8 mm in Chanda Nagar, 10.8 mm at the University of Hyderabad, and 10 mm in Patancheru.

This rainfall is part of the ongoing weather patterns observed in Telangana, influenced by the seasonal monsoons typical for this time of year. Such precipitation can significantly impact local agriculture, water supply, and urban infrastructure.
