Himachal Pradesh Panchayat Elections: 78.53% Voter Turnout in First Phase; Women Voters Exceed Men

In the recent elections held in Himachal Pradesh, several districts reported notable voter turnout rates. Shimla led the state with a turnout of 79.80%, followed closely by Mandi at 79.39%. Other districts saw the following participation levels: Una recorded a turnout of 78.76%, Bilaspur 77.39%, Kangra 75.75%, Hamirpur 73.05%, and Kinnaur 73.59%.

This level of voter engagement reflects a strong interest in the electoral process among the residents of Himachal Pradesh.
