Himanta Biswa Sarma Sworn in as Chief Minister of Assam; Four MLAs Appointed as Ministers

On a recent occasion, several new ministers were sworn in as part of the government, including Rameswar Teli and Ajanta Neog from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Atul Bora from the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), and Charan Boro from the Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF).

This cabinet expansion is seen as a strategic move aimed at strengthening the coalition government and enhancing representation across various regions. Rameswar Teli has previously held ministerial roles focusing on industry and commerce, while Ajanta Neog has been active in addressing womens issues and social welfare. Atul Bora, a prominent figure in AGP, is known for his agricultural policies, and Charan Boro represents the interests of the Bodo community, focusing on development in the Bodoland Territorial Region.

The inclusion of these ministers is anticipated to bring diverse perspectives to governance and promote collaborative initiatives among the states political parties. The current administration aims to ensure effective governance and development across Assam, which faces challenges related to infrastructure, agriculture, and socio-economic issues.
