Six-Laning Project on Hyderabad-Vijayawada Highway Approved

The project, which is estimated to cost ₹6,792 crore (approximately $815 million), will transform this vital route into a six-lane highway to improve road safety and reduce travel times.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance transportation infrastructure in the region, facilitating easier movement of goods and people. The expanded roadway is expected to accommodate growing traffic volumes, particularly as economic activities and population density continue to rise in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
