IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placements 2026: All 410 Students Secure Internships, With Strong Demand from Consulting Firms

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has successfully completed its summer internship placements for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) Class of 2027. All 410 participating students secured internships across a variety of sectors, indicating strong demand for talent.

Consulting firms were the most active recruiters, with significant hiring also occurring in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sectors as well as in consumer goods. Major companies from technology, conglomerates, and retail sectors also participated in the recruitment process, showcasing the broad appeal of IIM Ahmedabad graduates.

The city of Mumbai emerged as the most popular location for internships, reflecting its status as a commercial hub. Notably, a small number of students chose to embark on entrepreneurial ventures instead of traditional internship placements, highlighting a growing trend among graduates to pursue independent business opportunities.

This year’s placements underscore the continued strong demand for IIM Ahmedabad graduates and the diverse opportunities available to them in the job market.
