During recent discussions between officials from both Nepal and India, the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the initiation of passenger train services along the Janakpur-Ayodhya corridor were highlighted as a key area of focus. This rail link, which connects the significant cultural and religious sites of Janakpur in Nepal and Ayodhya in India, is anticipated to enhance connectivity and promote cross-border tourism.
