India and Slovakia Sign MoUs to Enhance Cooperation in Defence, Technology, and Labour Mobility

During a recent bilateral meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reported that discussions with European Union representatives focused on enhancing cooperation across several key sectors, including automobiles, railways, advanced manufacturing, and green technology. He emphasized that the ongoing negotiations for the India-EU Free Trade Agreement are expected to further strengthen the partnership between India and the EU.

The India-EU Free Trade Agreement aims to reduce tariffs and facilitate smoother trade relations, potentially increasing economic collaboration and investment opportunities between the two regions. This agreement aligns with Indias broader strategy to integrate more deeply into global supply chains and enhance its manufacturing capabilities. Environmental sustainability initiatives in green technology also reflect both parties commitments to combating climate change and fostering sustainable development. As progress continues in these discussions, both India and the EU seek to bolster their economic ties and address shared challenges in the evolving global landscape.
