J.P. Nadda to Launch ₹600 Crore Medical Infrastructure Initiative for AP Government Hospitals on May 14
Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav announced that Union Minister J.P. Nadda will inaugurate 24 new critical care blocks across various locations in Andhra Pradesh. This initiative will provide an additional 1,275 beds to enhance the states healthcare infrastructure, particularly in critical care services.
Additionally, a comprehensive action plan worth ₹35 crores has been formulated for the Government General Hospital located in Kakinada. This funding aims to improve facilities and services at the hospital, which is a key healthcare provider in the region.
Furthermore, the appointment of 46 Assistant and Associate Professors at Rangaraya Medical College has been confirmed. This move is expected to bolster the educational framework of the institution, promoting advanced medical training and research opportunities.
These developments are part of the state governments ongoing commitment to improving healthcare access and quality for residents of Andhra Pradesh.
