Jamia Millia Islamia has announced amendments to its examination policies concerning final-year students. Under the new rules, eligible students will now have the opportunity to take compartment examinations directly after completing their final exams. This modification aims to alleviate delays in graduation that have been caused by unresolved backlogs.

The decision was ratified by the universitys Executive Council and pertains specifically to Ordinance-15. It is important to note that these revised regulations are applicable solely to students enrolled in regular degree programs.

According to the university, this change is designed to provide a more flexible and supportive academic environment for students, hence facilitating their timely graduation. Jamia Millia Islamia, located in New Delhi, offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses across multiple disciplines and strives to enhance the academic experience of its students.
