Jharkhand CEO: 1.63 Crore Voters Exempt from Document Submission
The State Information Resource (SIR) process is set to officially commence in Jharkhand on June 30. This initiative will involve Booth Level Officers (BLOs) conducting house-to-house visits to gather essential data.
The SIR process aims to improve the accuracy of voter registration and enhance the overall electoral management system in the state. By reaching out to residents at their doorsteps, the BLOs will facilitate the collection of information necessary for updating the electoral rolls and ensuring that all eligible citizens are registered to vote.
The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Election Commission of India to strengthen the democratic process through improved voter participation and engagement. Residents are encouraged to cooperate with the BLOs during their visits to ensure a successful data collection process.
