Karnataka Student Claims OMR Sheet Mix-Up in NEET Exam, Files Complaint with NTA

A NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) candidate from Karnataka, Bindhushree Pawar, has raised concerns regarding a potential mix-up with her OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet following the release of her results. Pawar received a score of negative eleven marks, which stands in sharp contrast to her expectations of approximately six hundred sixty-three marks based on her own assessment of her performance during the examination.

Pawar alleges that the OMR sheet reflects fewer entries than she recalls marking during the test. Additionally, she has pointed out that the recorded entry and exit times on the sheet seem unreasonably short, raising further questions about the integrity of her exam experience. In response to these issues, her family has formally requested the original OMR sheet from the National Testing Agency (NTA) for review, seeking clarification and justice regarding the discrepancies.

The NEET UG exam, an essential gateway for aspiring medical students in India, has been historically scrutinized for its examination procedures. Concerns about potential errors in the evaluation process and mismatches in answer sheets can have significant implications for students academic futures.
