Kerala Assembly Session Concludes Early to Facilitate Election Campaign, Says Harish Rao

In a recent statement, a leader from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) expressed concerns regarding the Congress partys apparent prioritization of issues in Telangana. The BRS leader questioned whether the challenges faced by the state were being undervalued by the national party.

Additionally, the BRS leader criticized comments made by Union Minister C.R. Patil concerning the Kaleshwaram Project, an ambitious irrigation initiative aimed at improving water supply and agricultural productivity in Telangana. The ministers remarks have sparked controversy, leading to allegations that the Central governments support for the project may be insufficient.

The Kaleshwaram Project, launched in 2016, is one of the largest irrigation projects in the country, designed to harness the Godavari River to provide water to drought-prone areas of Telangana. The project has faced several challenges, including environmental concerns and political disputes regarding resource allocation and governance.

As debates continue over development priorities and regional issues, the BRS is advocating for greater recognition and support from national parties, emphasizing the need for a collaborative approach to address the needs of Telangana’s citizens.
